Metro League Director: Wendy Bunch
The Metro program is made up of a 6, 7,and 8 grade team. These teams play in the Cobb County Junior Basketball Conference (CCJBC). The CCJBC is made up of teams from Cobb, Cherokee, Paulding, and Fulton counties. This program is more competitive than the Lil Hawks Youth League. Most teams will play between 20-25 games and have 2-3 practices per week. If you make one of the teams, the cost to play is $295.00 (this includes shoes and a game uniform). The fees take care of tournaments, gym , officials, and supervision as well as shoes and game uniforms for the players.
All players participating in the Metro program must live in the Hillgrove High School District. The child must play for the school in which their address is unless their parent works in the High School where the child plans to go. In order to partipate, you MUST provide a birth certificate, PROOF of residency (electric bill, gas bill, cable bill, etc. - NO CELL PHONE BILLS), and a copy of your report card. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Remember - You must have the above documentation along in order to play!
The player information sheet is attached below. Please print out and return to your coach (along with the above documentation and fee payments ASAP).
Also, there is a $50.00 concession fee. If you work concession you will receive your check back. If not, your check will be cashed. |
